Sony 55X8500G was launched in 2019 and sits between the Sony X800G and X850F while being the immediate successor to X850F. The top features that it comes with include: 4K HDR, X1 4K HDR Processor, Acoustic Multi-Audio, and 4K X-Reality Pro.
It has a measurement of 1241x785x336 and weighs 17.2 kg with the stand. It runs on Android 8 and its screen measures 138.8cm. The TV has a perfect duo of the 4K HDR Processor X1 and Acoustic Multi Audio which sets it up to create realistic pictures and sounds. The Audio Power output is 2W while the Onboard storage is 16GB.
DESIGN
The X850G has the same similarities as the Sony x850F in terms of design. This screen has a dimension of 1450x889x316 mm while coming with a weight of 26.3kg. The body and borders are thin and made out of plastic. Additionally, its thickness is 5cm while its remote comes with dedicated Netflix and YouTube buttons to give users ease.
It has a stand that is of the usual bench type and is similar to Sony 55x8000G. However the only difference between the two is color. The back of the stands is hollow to help with cable management . This is once one channels them through the legs to hide them.
The power connector is placed at the left while a single gloss strip passes down and breaks the monotonous look. The gloss line has two side looking tweeters that form a part of the Acoustic Multi Audio-System.
DOLBY VISION
Dolby Vision will increase users viewing experience by opening your eyes to remarkable picture quality. You will be transported into the story while you experience colors like never seen before. Additionally, bright content will be brighter whereas dark scenes will be made darker.
MOTION FLOW XR
The motion performance is incredible . This is because it combines 120Hz panel with the Motion Flow XR 960 technology to offer an improvement from the X800G.It can support both motion Interpolation and Black Frame Insertion to create smoother images.
Motion Flow XR involves the use of an advanced panel in combination with a Sony algorithm to detect vertical, horizontal and diagonal motion. It will help in transforming the viewing experience of everything including fast-action sports.
TRILUMINOS DISPLAY
Sony X80H has a Triluminos Display that widens the color spectrum that is provided and reproduces more colors. It also makes images to be natural, precise, and realistic through selectively mapping colors from a wide pallete. This procedure ensures that subtle shades are clear and not saturated.
VIDEO QUALITY
The 55″ has a resolution of 3840×2160 and uses Edge-lit lighting while including a frame dimming option. It has support for basic HDR protocols that are found in medium and top tier models. These include HDR10 for UHD playback and HLG for broadcast. It can support both motion Interpolation and Black Frame Insertion to create smoother images.

It further adjusts the contrast accordingly.
The Super Bit Mapping 4K HDR performs its function effectively by giving out a 14-bit color gradation while the Dynamic Contrast Enhancer enhances the bright parts of the image to show deeper colors. Besides this, 4K X-Reality Pro technology that is also in Sony 43x7000F Smart TV will upscale SD and HD content into 4K resolution and also gives out an improved quality video at the end.
OS, APPS, AND FEATURES
Hisense 55x8500G runs on Android 8 which has improved quality and functionality. Android 8 operating system comes with a great performance and a brand new layout. Furthermore, options have been rebranded and repositioned to seamlessly interact with the Android system. It will further make things to feel easier, smoother, and better to handle in every way.

The connectivity features include support for Bluetooth 4.1,Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and 1 Ethernet input. All ports are located on the back right side except for the power connector which is located at the left.
There are 3 USB ports for connecting external storage, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 3 HDMI ports with one supporting ARC and e ARC, a remote IR input, an Ethernet port for wired connections, an RS-232C, and a cable/antenna connector.
The second backward side contains a fourth HDMI, a component video input, a composite video input, and an optical digital output.
ACCESSORIES, POWER, AND STORAGE
In addition, this TV will come with accessories such as AC Power cord, Batteries, Table Top Stand, and Voice Remote control. The storage space that comes on board is 16GB while the power consumption is 184W while in operation,0.5W while on standby, and the general power requirements stand at 50/60 Hz.
SOUND
The 55″ provides great clarity in terms of sound as Sony uses the Acoustic Multi-Audio technology. This technology usually features two full-range bass-reflex drivers that contain 10+10W of power.
The system also adds two sound positioning tweeters that provide a sound from picture reality. The aligning of sound and action makes the viewing to be more precise. The TV supports Dolby Digital, DTS, and Dolby Atmos.
